Banana Apricot Nut Bread - cooking recipe

1/2 c. butter
1/3 c. brown sugar
1/3 c. granulated sugar
2 large eggs
1 c. unbleached flour
1 c. whole wheat flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1 1/2 c. mashed bananas
1/2 c. chopped pecans or walnuts
1 c. minced dried apricots
1/2 c. shortening
1 c. sugar
2 eggs
1 c. mashed bananas
1 tsp. lemon juice
1 3/4 c. sifted flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 Tbsp. salt
1/2 c. chopped nuts
Preparation

Cream shortening and sugar.
Add eggs.
Add lemon juice to bananas.
Stir into creamed mixture.
Sift dry ingredients.
Mix all and bake in loaf pan.
Bake in 325\u00b0 oven for 45 minutes or until tester comes out clean.
