Icebox Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. butter or substitute
    2 c. brown sugar
    1 c. chopped pecans
    3 1/2 c. sifted flour
    2 eggs
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. soda
Preparation
    Cream butter and sugar.
    Add eggs; mix well.
    Sift salt and soda into flour.
    Add nuts; add to first part and mix.
    Put dough on well floured board; knead until smooth.
    Roll into round roll of desired size; roll in wax paper.
    Place in refrigerator overnight.
    When ready to bake, slice very thin and bake in moderate oven (350\u00b0) until crisp.
    Makes about 5 dozen cookies.
