Ingredients

2 c. flour
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. cloves
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
1/2 c. (1 stick) margarine
2/3 c. sugar
1 c. persimmon pulp
1 tsp. baking soda
1 egg, well beaten
1 c. chopped nuts
1 c. raisins
Preparation

Sift together flour, salt and spices; set aside.
Cream margarine
and
sugar, add persimmon pulp and baking soda, mix well.
Add egg, mix well.
Stir in sifted dry ingredients then nuts
and
raisins.
Drop
by
teaspoonfuls on lightly greased baking
sheet,
bake
at
350\u00b0 for 15 minutes.
Store in glass jar, they will keep soft and fresh.
These freeze well too.
