Apricot Nut Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. chopped dried apricots
    1 3/4 c. sugar
    1 heaping Tbsp. butter
    1 1/2 c. boiling water
    2 beaten eggs
    1 tsp. vanilla
    3 3/4 c. flour
    2 tsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. salt
    1 c. chopped nuts
Preparation
    Pour boiling water over apricots, sugar and butter.
    Let cool. Add 2 beaten eggs and vanilla.
    Sift together flour, baking powder and salt.
    Mix into apricot mixture.
    Add nuts; mix well. Pour into 2 greased and floured loaf pans.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour.
