Grandma Fougerat'S Sugar Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 c. butter
1 c. shortening
1 c. powdered sugar
1 c. white sugar
2 eggs
2 tsp. vanilla
4 c. flour
pinch of salt
1 tsp. soda
1 tsp. cream of tartar

Preparation

Cream the butter, shortening and sugars until creamy.
Add eggs and vanilla.
Sift dry ingredients together.
Add to mixture.
Roll into log.
Chill and slice to bake.
