Spicy Apricot Bread * - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. dried apricots
    1 c. water
    1 c. sugar
    6 Tbsp. fat
    1/2 tsp. cinnamon
    1/2 tsp. cloves
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. nutmeg
    2 c. flour
    1 tsp. soda
    1 egg
Preparation
    Chop apricots in small pieces.
    Mix apricots with next seven ingredients, bring to boil and boil five minutes.
    Gradually stir in flour sifted together with soda until just blended.
    Bake in well-greased bread pan at 330\u00b0 for one hour or more.
    Cool five minutes.
    Remove and cool further on cake rack.
