Persimmon Bread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. plain flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
1 c. sugar
1 c. persimmon pulp
1/2 c. milk
2 eggs, slightly beaten
1/4 c. butter, softened
1 c. chopped pecans
Preparation

Combine flour, baking powder, soda, salt, cinnamon and nutmeg. Stir lightly and set aside.
Combine sugar, persimmon pulp, milk and eggs.
Mix well.
Stir in pecans.
Spoon batter into a greased and floured 9 x 5 x 3-inch loaf pan.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 45 minutes or until bread is done. Yields one loaf.
