Coconut-Cornflake Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 egg whites, at room temperature
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. cream of tartar
    1 1/4 c. sugar
    1 1/4 tsp. coconut extract
    4 c. cornflakes
    1 (3 1/2 oz.) pkg. grated coconut
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 300\u00b0.
    Grease baking sheets; set aside.
    In a large bowl, beat egg whites until frothy.
    Add salt and cream of tartar.
    Beat to combine.
    Gradually add sugar, beating until egg whites are stiff.
    Beat in extract.
    Gently fold in cornflakes and coconut.
