Banana Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. shortening or margarine
    1 c. sugar
    2 eggs
    3 to 4 ripe bananas
    1/2 tsp. lemon juice
    2 c. flour
    1 tsp. soda
    1/2 c. chopped nuts (optional)
Preparation
    Cream shortening and sugar. Add eggs and mix well. Add bananas and lemon juice, then add remaining ingredients. Blend well. Pour into a greased and floured 9 x 5 x 3-inch loaf pan. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour.
