Applesauce Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 c. sugar
1/2 c. butter
1 egg
1 c. applesauce
2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. soda
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. cloves
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. raisins (optional)
1 c. nuts (optional)

Preparation

Cream together sugar and butter.
Add egg and applesauce. Sift together flour, baking powder, soda, cinnamon, cloves and salt.
Add to creamed mixture.
Add optional raisins and nuts. Drop by spoonful on greased cookie sheets and bake until light brown at 350\u00b0.
