Old-Fashioned Bread Stuffing - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. finely chopped onion
    1 1/2 c. chopped celery
    1 stick (1/2 c.) butter
    1 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. poultry seasoning
    1/2 tsp. sage
    1/2 tsp. pepper
    8 c. unseasoned dry bread cubes
    1/4 c. water or broth
Preparation
    Cook onion and celery in butter until tender.
    Mix seasonings together and sprinkle over bread cubes.
    Add onion and celery mixture and water.
    Mix well.
    Makes 8 cups.
