Aunt Mary'S Irish Bread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

4 c. flour
1 tsp. salt
2 tsp. baking powder
4 oz. butter
1 box raisins or less, if you prefer
6 Tbsp. sugar
2 c. buttermilk or regular milk plus 2 Tbsp. vinegar
3/4 tsp. baking soda, dissolved in hot tap water
Preparation

Heat oven while preparing ingredients.
Mix the flour, salt and baking powder with a spoon.
Blend butter into flour.
Add dissolved baking soda to the milk.
Pour milk and baking soda mixture into the flour and blend.
Bake 1 hour at 350\u00b0.
