Ingredients

1 c. shortening
1 c. sugar
1 c. brown sugar
2 eggs
2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt
2 c. oatmeal (uncooked)
2 c. Rice Krispies
1 c. coconut (optional)
1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation

Cream the shortening,
sugar
and brown sugar.\tAdd the eggs, and stir in
the remaining ingredients.
Mix well.\tMold with hands into balls the
size of walnuts.
Press flat with a fork. Bake for 12 to 14 minutes.
