Banana Nut Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. self-rising flour
    2 c. mashed, ripe bananas
    1/2 c. shortening
    1 c. chopped nuts
    1/2 c. sour cream
    1 c. sugar
    2 eggs
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
    Grease and flour bottoms and 1/2 inch up sides of 2 loaf pans.
    Cream the sugar and shortening; add eggs, sour cream and bananas.
    Mix until well blended.
    Stir into flour just until moist.
    Fold in nuts and pour batter into pans. Bake 45 to 55 minutes or until breads test done.
    Cool in pans 10 minutes.
    Remove from pans and cool completely.
