Banana Tea Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 1/2 c. sifted flour
    4 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. soda
    1 tsp. salt
    2/3 c. shortening
    1 1/3 c. sugar
    4 eggs, beaten well
    2 c. mashed bananas
Preparation
    Sift together the flour, baking powder, soda and salt.
    Beat shortening and sugar together until creamy.
    Add eggs and beat well.
    Add flour mixture alternately with bananas, a small amount at a time.
    Beat until smooth.
    Turn into 2 well-greased bread pans (8 1/2 x 4 1/2 x 3-inch) and bake in a 350\u00b0 oven for about 1 hour and 10 minutes.
