Monkey Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 dry yeast cakes
    3/4 c. sugar
    1 c. boiling water
    2 eggs, beaten
    1 c. shortening
    1 1/2 tsp. salt
    1 c. lukewarm water
    6 c. flour
    1/4 lb. melted butter
Preparation
    Dissolve yeast in lukewarm water; set aside. Mix shortening, sugar, salt and boiling water. Mix well. Add beaten egg. Add flour and yeast mixture alternately until complete. Let rise in a warm place until doubled. Knead dough well. Pull off pieces about the size of a walnut; dip into butter and place in loaf pan or Bundt pan. Continue filling until pan is 2/3 full. Cover and let rise.
