Ingredients

1 1/2 c. oatmeal
1 stick butter
1/2 c. pecans, chopped
1 egg
3/4 c. sugar
1 Tbsp. flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation

Melt butter over oatmeal.
Sift dry ingredients together; mix with oatmeal.
Beat eggs and add vanilla.
Mix with oatmeal.
Add nuts.
Cover cookie sheets with foil; drop by teaspoons and bake 11 minutes at 325\u00b0.
Let cool before removing from foil.
A thin, crispy cookie.
