3/4 c. butter flavor Crisco
1 1/4 c. firmly packed brown sugar
1 Tbsp. vanilla
1 3/4 c. self-rising flour
1 c. pecan pieces
1 c. semi-sweet chocolate chips
2 Tbsp. milk
1 egg
Preparation

Cream Crisco, brown sugar, milk and vanilla in large bowl. Add egg.
Sift flour in gradually.
Stir in chocolate chips and nuts.
Drop by rounded tablespoonfuls onto cookie sheet, about 3 inches apart.
Bake at 375\u00b0 for 8 to 10 minutes.
