Ingredients

1/4 c. butter
2 c. sugar
1/2 c. milk
1/4 c. baking cocoa
pinch of salt
1 tsp. vanilla extract
1/2 c. peanut butter
3 c. quick cooking oats
Preparation

Melt butter in saucepan over low heat. Add sugar, milk, cocoa and salt.
Mix well. Bring just to the boiling point; do not boil. Remove from heat. Add vanilla, peanut butter and oats; mix well. Drop by spoonfuls onto cookie sheet.
Let stand until firm. Yields 3 dozen.
