Apple Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. sugar
    1/2 c. shortening
    2 eggs, beaten
    1 c. apples, grated
    2 c. flour
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. baking soda
    1 c. chopped nuts
    1 1/2 Tbsp. buttermilk
    1/2 tsp. vanilla
    3 Tbsp. sugar
    1 tsp. cinnamon
Preparation
    Combine sugar and shortening.
    Add eggs and apples.
    Combine dry ingredients.
    Mix with other ingredients.
    Add nuts.
    Stir in buttermilk and vanilla.
    Pour into greased 10 x 6 x 3-inch loaf pan.
    Mix sugar and cinnamon.
    Sprinkle on top.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour.
