Fruitcake Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. margarine, softened
    1/2 c. firmly packed light brown sugar
    2 eggs, beaten
    1/4 c. buttermilk
    1 1/2 c. self-rising flour
    1/2 tsp. baking soda
    1/2 tsp. ground allspice
    1/2 tsp. ground cinnamon
    1 c. cherries (candied)
    1 c. pineapple (candied)
    1 c. dates
    1 (8 oz.) pkg. raisins
    3 c. pecans, chopped
Preparation
    Combine margarine and sugar, creaming until light and fluffy. Add eggs, buttermilk, flour, soda and spices.
    Mix well. Stir in remaining ingredients.
    Drop by teaspoonfuls onto greased baking sheet. Bake at 300\u00b0 for 25 minutes.
    Makes approximately 7 dozen.
