Ingredients

1/2 c. margarine
1 c. peanut butter
1 c. packed brown sugar
1 egg
1 1/2 c. self-rising flour
Preparation

Allow butter to come to room temperature.
Cream together butter, peanut butter and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
Add egg and flour.
Mix thoroughly.
Shape into balls and place about 2 inches apart on baking sheet.
Flatten with a fork in crisscross pattern.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 10 to 12 minutes.
Makes 4 dozen cookies.
