Molasses Icebox Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. sugar
    1 c. shortening
    2 eggs, well beaten
    4 1/2 c. flour, sifted
    1 c. molasses
    1 tsp. soda
    3 tsp. ginger
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 c. pecans
Preparation
    Cream sugar and shortening, eggs and molasses.
    Add ginger, soda and salt to flour.
    Add pecans.
    Make into rolls the desired size of the cookies and place in refrigerator.
    Allow to stand overnight or longer, then slice and bake at 350\u00b0.
