Lemon Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. margarine
    3 c. sugar
    4 eggs
    3 c. flour
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. soda
    1 c. buttermilk
    grated lemon rind
    1/2 c. lemon juice
    1 c. chopped pecans
Preparation
    Blend margarine, 2 cups of sugar and eggs.
    Sift next 3 ingredients together, add alternately to cream mixture with buttermilk.
    fold in lemon rind and pecans.
    Pour into 2 well-greased loaf pans.
    Bake 1 hour at 350\u00b0.
    Mix remaining sugar and lemon juice.
    Spoon over hot bread.
    Cool 1 hour before serving.
