No-Knead Rolls - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. scalded milk
    1/2 c. water
    2 tsp. salt
    1 cake yeast or 1 pkg. active dry yeast
    3 c. all-purpose flour
    melted shortening
    3 Tbsp. sugar
    3 Tbsp. shortening
    1 egg
Preparation
    Blend together milk, 3 tablespoons shortening, sugar and salt. Cool to lukewarm by adding water.
    Add yeast and mix well.
    Add egg.
    Add flour gradually, mixing until dough is well blended. Place in greased bowl.
    Brush top with melted shortening and allow to rise until light.
    Knead dough a few times to make smooth ball. Form into desired shapes and bake in 400\u00b0 oven for 15 to 25 minutes or until golden brown.
    Makes 2 dozen.
