Sweet Bread And Butttr Pickles - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    20 cukes (enough to fill roasting pan), sliced
    6 medium onions, sliced
    ice
    1/2 c. salt
    a couple of garlic cloves
    4 1/2 c. sugar
    2 Tbsp. mustard seed
    3 c. vinegar
    1 1/2 tsp. celery salt
    1 1/2 tsp. turmeric
Preparation
    Bring to a boil.
    Add cukes and onions.
    Return to heat and bring to a boil.
    Let cool and put in canning jars.
    Stir occasionally.
