Raisin Nut Bread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. butter
1/2 c. sugar
1 tsp. salt
1 c. buttermilk
2 medium eggs
2 c. flour
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
3 c. bran
1/2 c. raisins
1/2 c. chopped nuts
Preparation

Melt butter in a saucepan.
Add sugar, salt and buttermilk. Allow to cool.
Stir in eggs.
Sift together the flour and salt. Add raisins and nuts; blend well.
Put dough into a loaf pan. Bake for 1 hour at 350\u00b0.
Let cool; cut in slices.
