Dark Overnight Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. shortening
    2 eggs, well beaten
    1/2 c. molasses
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1 tsp. baking powder
    2 c. sugar
    4 1/2 c. flour
    2 tsp. ginger
    1 tsp. baking soda
    1/2 tsp. salt
Preparation
    In a bowl, cream the shortening. Add sugar gradually. Add eggs and molasses.
    Blend.
    In second bowl, sift together flour and spices.
    Add to creamed mixture and stir well.
    Knead dough and shape into rolls.
    Chill overnight.
    Next day, slice and bake in a 350\u00b0 oven for 8 to 10 minutes.
