Cranberry Nut Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. fresh cranberries
    3/4 c. coarsely chopped pecans
    2 Tbsp. melted butter
    grated rind of 1 large orange (1 tsp.)
    1/3 c. orange juice
    1/4 c. water
    1 egg
    2 c. sifted flour
    1 c. plus 2 Tbsp. sugar
    1 3/4 tsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. baking soda
Preparation
    Rinse, sort and cut the cranberries in half.
    Chop nuts.
    Set aside.
    Melt butter and grate orange; set aside.
    Sift together dry ingredients; set aside.
    Combine beaten egg, orange juice and water, then stir in melted butter.
