Sunburst Chiffon Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. flour, sifted
1 1/2 c. sugar
3 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
1/2 c. Wesson oil
7 egg yolks
3/4 c. cold water
3 Tbsp. grated orange rind
7 egg whites
1/2 tsp. cream of tartar
Preparation

Measure the first 4 ingredients together; mix.
Make a well and add the next 4 ingredients.
In another large bowl, beat the egg whites and cream of tartar very stiff.
Pour egg yolks mixture gradually over beaten whites.
Fold in gently with rubber spatula. Pour into a 10-inch tube pan, ungreased.
Bake at 325\u00b0 for 55 minutes, then at 350\u00b0 for 5 to 10 minutes.
Turn pan upside down immediately.
Let cool, then remove.
