Cranberry Nut Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. all-purpose flour
    1 tsp. soda
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/4 c. sugar
    1/2 c. buttermilk
    1 egg, well beaten
    1 c. whole berry cranberry sauce
    1 c. chopped pecans or walnuts
Preparation
    Combine dry ingredients in a mixing bowl.
    Add buttermilk, egg and cranberry sauce.
    Stir well; do not beat.
    Stir in nuts. Spoon batter into a well-greased 8 1/2 x 4 1/2 x 2 5/8-inch loaf pan.
    Bake at 300\u00b0 for 1 hour or until bread tests done.
