Brown Sugar Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. shortening (1/2 c. margarine and 1 c. Crisco)
    3 c. regular flour
    1 Tbsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 lb. brown sugar
    1 c. white sugar
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 c. pecans, ground
    5 eggs
    1 c. milk
Preparation
    Cream together shortening, brown sugar and white sugar until fluffy.
    Add eggs 1 at a time and beat thoroughly after each one. Sift together flour, salt and baking powder.
    Add flour mixture alternately with milk.
    Add vanilla and nuts.
    Bake 1 1/2 hours at 325\u00b0 in a tube pan, greased and floured.
