Crunchie Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 oz. margarine
    3 oz. caster sugar
    few drops vanilla essence
    1 tsp. golden syrup
    2 oz. shortening
    3 oz. oats
    4 oz. Bisquick or all purpose flour
    3 tsp. hot water
Preparation
    Cream fats and sugar together; add the other wet ingredients and mix with the other dry ingredients (quite a stiff mix).
    Roll into small balls and space them out on a greased baking tray. Bake for 15 to 20 minutes at 350\u00b0 or on gas mark 4.
