Lemon Bread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 c. shortening
1 c. sugar
2 eggs
1 1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 c. milk
2 Tbsp. confectioners sugar
1 Tbsp. lemon juice
Preparation

Cream together shortening and sugar.
Beat in eggs.
Sift together and add to creamed mixture the flour, baking powder, salt and milk.
Bake in an 8 x 4-inch loaf pan at 350\u00b0.
