Ingredients

1 c. soft butter
1/2 c. powdered sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
2 tsp. vanilla
2 c. sifted flour
1/2 c. nuts, chopped
Preparation

Beat butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add salt, vanilla, flour and nuts.
Mix well. Chill. Shape dough into balls. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 8 minutes, until lightly browned on ungreased cookie sheet.
While still warm, roll in powdered sugar.
Yields 4 to 5 dozen.
