Snickerdoodle Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. sugar
    1 c. shortening
    2 eggs
    1 tsp. vanilla
    2 1/2 c. flour
    2 tsp. cream of tartar
    1 tsp. baking soda
    1/4 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 400\u00b0.
    In a small bowl, sift flour, cream of tartar, soda and salt; set aside.
