Snickerdoodle Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 3/4 c. sifted flour
    2 tsp. cream of tartar
    1 tsp. baking soda
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 c. shortening
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    2 eggs
    2 Tbsp. sugar
    2 tsp. cinnamon
Preparation
    Sift together the first 4 ingredients.
    In mixing bowl, cream together shortening, sugar and eggs at medium speed until fluffy. Add sifted dry ingredients and mix at medium speed until combined.
    Chill dough.
    Roll dough into 1-inch balls and then roll in the sugar and cinnamon mixture.
    Place about 2 inches apart on ungreased baking sheet.
    Bake 8 to 10 minutes in a 400\u00b0 oven.
