3/4 c. shortening
1 c. granulated sugar
1 c. brown sugar
1 c. light crushed Skinner raisin bran
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. vanilla
2 eggs
1 c. oatmeal
2 c. flour
1 c. salted peanuts
Preparation

Thoroughly cream shortening with both sugars; add eggs, one at a time, and blend well.
Stir in oatmeal and Raisin Bran.
Sift flour with baking powder and soda.
Stir into creamed mixture.
Add vanilla and peanuts.
Roll into small balls; place on greased baking sheet and press with the tines of a fork to flatten.
Bake in moderately hot oven (375\u00b0) for 10 minutes or until lightly browned.
Makes 7 dozen small cookies.
