Banana Nut Bread(Margaret'S) - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. oleo
2 eggs
1/2 tsp. salt (optional)
1 tsp. soda
2 c. flour
1/4 c. buttermilk
1 tsp. vanilla
3 mashed bananas (ripe) or 1 1/2 c.
1 c. chopped nuts, finely chopped
Preparation

Cream sugar and oleo. Add beaten eggs, buttermilk, bananas and vanilla. Stir in flour, salt and soda. Add chopped nuts (pecans). Bake at 250\u00b0 to 300\u00b0 for 1 to 1 1/2 hours.
Test with toothpick. Makes 2 loaves.
