1 c. white sugar
1 c. brown sugar, packed
1 c. peanut butter
1 c. shortening or butter
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
3 c. flour (plain), sifted
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
Preparation

Cream sugars, peanut butter and butter with mixer until fluffy.
Add eggs and vanilla.
Then add flour, soda and salt. Mix until flour is moistened; mixture will be somewhat thick like dough.
Roll into small balls about 1-inch in diameter.
Place on ungreased cookie sheets.
Bake 7 to 10 minutes at 350\u00b0.
