Ingredients

1 c. chopped dates
3/4 c. sugar
2 Tbsp. butter
1 egg, beaten
3/4 c. chopped pecans
1 c. coconut
2 c. Rice Krispies cereal
Preparation

In an iron skillet, mix dates, sugar, butter and egg over a low heat.
Cook until dates melt down and get mushy.
Turn off heat.
Add pecans and Rice Krispies and mix real well.
Roll mixture into small balls and roll in coconut.
Allow cookies to cool on wax paper.
