Ingredients

1/4 c. margarine
1 c. sugar
2 eggs
1 lb. chopped dates
1 tsp. vanilla
3 c. Rice Krispies
1/2 to 1 c. chopped nuts
Preparation

Cook butter, sugar, eggs and dates in an iron skillet about 20 minutes or long enough to cook eggs.
Add vanilla, nuts and cereal.
Stir until all ingredients are well mixed.
Form into balls about the size of a walnut.
Roll balls in coconut or ground pecans.
