Ingredients

2 c. white sugar
1/3 c. cocoa
1/2 c. milk
1/4 lb. oleo
1 tsp. vanilla
3 c. quick rolled oats
1/2 c. nuts (optional)
Preparation

Heat sugar, cocoa, milk, and oleo in saucepan until bubbling well. Cook for 3 minutes, then add vanilla. Pour mixture over oats and nuts. Drop by tsp. on waxed paper.
Cool.
* A variation is to omit the cocoa and 1 c. of oats, substituting: 1 c. of peanut butter and 20 miniature marshmallows.
