Butter Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. soft butter
    2 tsp. vanilla
    3 c. flour
    2/3 c. sugar
    2 eggs
    1/2 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Cream butter and sugar. Stir in vanilla. Add eggs. Stir in flour and salt. Chill 2 hours. Roll out 1/4 of dough at a time, rolling to 1/8 inch thickness. Cut into desired shapes and lift to baking sheet with spatula. Place cookies 1 inch apart. Bake in 350\u00b0 oven for 10 minutes or to light brown. Remove from cookie sheet. Cool, frost and decorate.
