Boston Brown Bread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 2/3 c. flour
2 tsp. soda
1 Tbsp. oil
1 c. sugar
1 egg
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 tsp. salt
1 1/2 c. boiling water
1 1/2 c. raisins
Preparation

Grease and flour four 16 ounce size tin cans.
Pour boiling water over raisins and oil and let cool.
Mix dry ingredients together.
Add all remaining ingredients and stir everything into the water and raisins.
Fill cans 2/3 full and bake at 325\u00b0 for 1 hour.
Excellent served with cream cheese.
