Snowballs - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. sugar
    1/2 c. butter
    2 egg yolks, beaten
    1 c. crushed pineapple, drained
    1 c. chopped pecans
    2 egg whites, beaten stiff
    1 pt. heavy cream, whipped
    1 small pkg. coconut
    1 box vanilla wafers
Preparation
    Mix first six ingredients.
    Put between wafers, using three for each ball.
    (Wafers are stacked with filling between them.) Let stand in refrigerator overnight.
    A few hours before serving, coat with whip cream and coconut.
    Makes 20.
