Island Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 2/3 c. all-purpose flour
    3/4 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. baking soda
    1/2 tsp. salt
    3/4 c. butter or margarine, softened (1 1/2 sticks)
    3/4 c. packed brown sugar
    1/3 c. granulated sugar
    1 tsp. vanilla extract
    1 egg
    2 c. milk chocolate chips (11 1/2 oz.)
    1 c. flaked coconut, toasted if desired
    3/4 c. Macadamia nuts or walnuts, chopped
Preparation
    Combine flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt in small bowl.
    Beat butter, brown sugar, granulated sugar and vanilla in large mixing bowl until creamy.
    Beat in egg.
    Gradually blend in flour mixture.
    Stir in morsels, coconut and nuts.
    Drop by slightly rounded tablespoonfuls onto ungreased baking sheets. Bake in preheated 375\u00b0 oven for 8 to 11 minutes or until edges are lightly browned.
    Let stand for 2 minutes.
    Remove to wire racks to cool completely.
    Makes about 3 dozen.
