Granny'S Icebox Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients

2 1/2 c. sugar
4 eggs
4 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
2 c. Crisco
6 c. flour
2 tsp. vanilla

Preparation

Mix sugar, Crisco, eggs and vanilla together.
Add flour, baking powder and salt.
Mix well.
Take cookie dough and divide in half.
Roll each half in wax paper.
Chill dough for 1 hour, then slice 1/2-inch slices.
Place on greased cookie sheet and bake at 350\u00b0 for 10 minutes until golden brown.
