Payday Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 yellow cake mix
1/3 c. margarine, melted
1 egg
3 c. miniature marshmallows
2/3 c. corn syrup
1/4 c. margarine
2 tsp. vanilla
1 (12 oz.) pkg. peanut butter chips
2 c. Rice Krispies
2 c. salted cocktail peanuts

Preparation

Mix first 3 ingredients together and bake in an ungreased 9 x 13-inch pan for 12 to 18 minutes at 350\u00b0.
When baked and still hot, put 3 cups miniature marshmallows on top.
Heat remaining ingredients until smooth, stirring constantly, then add Rice Krispies and salted cocktail peanuts.
Spread on top of marshmallows.
Cool several hours.
