Lemon Bread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 c. sugar
juice of 1 lemon
1/2 c. oleo
1 c. sugar
2 beaten eggs
rind of 1 lemon
1/2 c. milk
1 1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt
Preparation

Mix together 1/2 cup sugar and lemon juice.
Let stand.
Cream together oleo, 1 cup sugar, eggs, lemon rind, milk, flour, baking powder and salt.
Pour creamed ingredients into a loaf pan and bake 45 to 55 minutes in a 350\u00b0 oven.
Pour lemon juice and sugar mixture over warm loaf.
Let cool in pan.
